The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ayune Araragi's romantic comedy manga Isshiki-san wa Koi wo Shiritai. (Ms. Isshiki Wants to Know About Love) has unveiled four new additions to its voice cast alongside a promotional key visual. The series is officially slated to make its broadcast debut in January 2027.
The newly announced cast members include Haruki Ishiya as Iwata Danjuro, Takuma Nagatsuka as Nakatani Masato, Hiiro Ishibashi as Matsumoto Chikai, and Yuu Wakui as Yamakawa Rena. These actors join a production lineup helmed by director Kazuya Komai at animation studio Sakura Create.
Production Pedigree
Behind the scenes, the series benefits from seasoned industry talent. Deko Akao, known for work on Komi Can't Communicate, is managing the series composition. Character designs are being handled by Shouhei Hamaguchi, while composer Michiru provides the musical score.
Creator Ayune Araragi originally serialized the underlying premise under the title Rinna Keibu wa Iki ga Dekinai in Comic REX before shifting the project to Monthly Shounen Ace. Kadokawa published the tenth compiled volume in May, and English publisher Yen Press brought the manga to international audiences, with further collected volumes slated for early 2027.
