The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ichi Yukishiro's Hone Dragon no Mana Musume (The Skull Dragon's Precious Daughter) web manga has delivered a major update. The production has officially revealed its main voice cast, initial key visual, and the very first promotional video, locking in a 2027 premiere window for the fantasy series.
Headlining the cast are acclaimed voice actors Kana Hanazawa as Eve and Kazuhiko Inoue as Nemu, bringing the central heartwarming dynamic of the skeletal guardian and his human daughter to life. The series is being helmed by director Kuniyasu Nishina at renowned animation powerhouse Doga Kobo. Series composition is managed by Yuka Yamada, while Tomoya Atsumi takes on character design duties, backed by background art directors Daiki Kuribayashi and Yuuki Hatakeyama.
Yukishiro initially launched the heartwarming slice-of-life fantasy manga on MAGCOMI in September 2020 before transferring serialization to Comic Garden. The series has steadily built a dedicated readership, earning a nomination in the web category at the 2021 Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Awards. International fans have also embraced the property, with J-Novel Club handling digital releases and Media Do publishing physical editions in English.
