Broadcaster NHK has confirmed that the upcoming anime adaptation will premiere in January 2027 on NHK General. Serialization began in April 2021 within Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits. Surpassing 1.7 million copies in global circulation across ten collected volumes, the narrative follows Hiroto Ikuta, a carefree twenty-something living a relaxed existence in a modest one-story house in Asagaya, Tokyo. After inheriting the dwelling from a beloved neighbor, he starts sharing his living space with his eighteen-year-old cousin Natsumi, who recently moved from Yamagata to attend art university. Over time, the house transforms into a sanctuary for urbanites weighed down by career doubts and existential anxieties.
