Following the broadcast of the thirteenth and final episode of Hell Mode: Yarikomizuki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou suru 2nd Season, the production committee officially announced that a third season has been greenlit. The continuation will cover the upcoming high-stakes dungeon arcs of the fantasy isekai series.

The television adaptation is animated by Yokohama Animation Lab, which handled the previous runs across 2026. The story follows an obsessive hardcore gamer who willingly chooses the most punishing difficulty setting possible upon reincarnating into another world, slowly grinding his way up from bottom-tier stats through disciplined strategy and summoning mechanics.
The franchise originates from author Hamuo and illustrator Mo, who debuted the light novel series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou platform in November 2019 before publication under Earth Star Entertainment's Earth Star Novel imprint. A manga adaptation by artist Enji Tetta runs concurrently in Comic Earth☆Star magazine, with English localizations of both the novels and manga handled by J-Novel Club.
