The tactical fantasy anime adaptation Hell Mode is officially returning for a third season. The announcement confirms that the upcoming continuation will tackle the highly anticipated “S-Kyu Dungeon Koryaku-hen” storyline, keeping production momentum strong for the Yokohama Animation Lab project.
Alongside the announcement, the production committee unveiled a striking key visual showcasing the characters gearing up for the brutal dungeon-delving trials ahead. While a specific release date has not yet been locked in, the transition into this next narrative phase follows closely on the heels of the second season's 13-episode broadcast run that concluded in September 2026.
The creative powerhouse behind the series includes Masato Tamagawa in the director's chair, working alongside series composer Daishiro Tanimura and character designer Kei Tsushima. The central voice cast features notable performances from Mutsumi Tamura as Allen, Mayu Izuka as Krena, Tasuku Hatanaka as Dogora, and Sayaka Senbongi as Cecil, supported by seasoned industry veterans like Tomokazu Sugita and Takahiro Sakurai.
Based on the original light novel series written by Hamuo and illustrated by Mo, Hell Mode began its journey on Shosetsuka ni Naro before expanding through Earth Star Entertainment. The story follows Kenichi Yamada, a 35-year-old gamer who trades casual titles for an unforgiving summoner experience, waking up as a serf baby named Allen.
