The upcoming romantic comedy anime Glasses with a Chance of Delinquent has officially confirmed its broadcast window, announcing a Japan premiere set for April 2027. Alongside the release date, the production committee dropped an initial teaser trailer and revealed the primary voice cast and creative team steering the project.
The central voice cast features Hiroto Shimizu stepping into the role of Dan Ichikura, alongside Suzuko Hara as Hiro Momose, and Yuma Tomochika as Ohana-chan. The animation production is a collaborative effort between Studio Flad and Wao World.
Staff Pedigree & Origins
Behind the camera, Makoto Hoshino takes the director's chair. The series composition is managed by Megumi Shimizu, while character designs are crafted by Ruriko Watanabe, bringing the distinct aesthetic of the original source material to the screen.
The television anime adapts the popular romantic comedy manga by Naruki, originally serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the series in English, introducing international audiences to its quirky premise.
