Streaming platform Crunchyroll has expanded its broadcast lineup by confirming same-day English dub releases for three prominent television series: FX Senshi Kurumi-chan, #I'm Looking For Zombie, and Reborn as a Space Mercenary. The platform rolled out comprehensive details regarding the voice casts and production crews behind each localized version, giving fans an inside look at the talent driving these regional adaptations.
FX Senshi Kurumi-chan Leads the Wave
Adapted from the manga by storywriter Demunyan and artist Daisuki Tansan, FX Senshi Kurumi-chan features a dub recorded at Bang Zoom! Studios, Inc. Directed by Michelle Ruff, the principal cast features Kimoy Lee as Kurumi, Kate Clarke as Kozue, Cory Yee as Ikuo and the Narrator, and Lisa Reimold as Young Yuko. The adaptation script was penned by Marin M. Miller, with Eric P. Sherman producing.
Zombie and Sci-Fi Localization Details
Katsuwo's #I'm Looking For Zombie manga adaptation relies on VSI Los Angeles for its English dubbing production. Directed and cast by Gavin Cooper Harrison with script adaptation by Rachel Robinson, the ensemble includes Madeline Dorroh as Aki, Arianna Contardo as Natsuki, Blythe Melin as Haru, Giselle Fernandez as Yu, Anairis Quiñones as Sakura, and Christopher W. Jones as Dad.
Meanwhile, the science fiction light novel adaptation Reborn as a Space Mercenary was produced entirely in-house by Crunchyroll. Under the voice direction of Jad Saxton alongside assistant director Ben Stegmair, the core roster brings together Kyle Phillips as Hiro, Kelsey Cruz as Elma, Emily Neves as Mimi, and Jaclyn Thomas as Serena.
