Studio Passione has officially launched the television adaptation of FX Senshi Kurumi-chan, bringing Demunyan and Tansan Daisuki’s ruthless financial manga serialized in Monthly Comic Flapper to the screen. Directed by Yuki Ogawa with series composition by Kenta Ihara, the premiere episode immediately establishes the brutal reality of foreign exchange speculation through a chilling family crisis.
A Warning Signs Premiere
Before the narrative even unfolds, viewers are greeted by an unvarnished disclaimer regarding the perilous nature of margin trading, setting a grim tone that caught audiences off guard. The psychological weight intensifies rapidly when protagonist Kurumi discovers her mother, voiced by Mamiko Noto, descending into frantic desperation after losing 20 million yen in the market. Noto's harrowing performance anchors the tragedy that ultimately drives college-aged Kurumi to enter the volatile world of currency trading herself.
Voiced by Aina Suzuki, who also performs the chaotic opening and ending themes, Kurumi approaches her inherited debts and ambitions with chilling determination. With production support and specialized financial supervision from FXVTuber Rion, Passione's adaptation merges cute character designs by Kazuyuki Ueda with a harrowing, high-stakes narrative.
