Following the maritime triumphs of the New World storyline, Senku Ishigami and the Kingdom of Science stand on the precipice of their most ambitious endeavor yet. The fourth and concluding anime installment, officially titled Dr. STONE: Science Future, will adapt the climactic chapters of the landmark manga created by story writer Riichiro Inagaki and artist Boichi.
Animation production remains with studio TMS Entertainment, who have stewarded the adaptation since its 2019 debut. To ensure the expansive final arcs receive proper pacing, the production committee designed Science Future as a split-cour broadcast spanning three separate cours. This structural roadmap gives the creative team the necessary runway to depict Senku's cross-continental industrial revolution without truncating technical milestones.
The Global Voyage Toward Why-Man
The upcoming narrative fundamentally expands the physical scale of the Stone World. To confront the elusive antagonist known as Why-Man, the Kingdom of Science must assemble resources spanning the entire planet, requiring ambitious expeditions to North and South America to establish infrastructure for synthetic materials, precision machinery, and rocketry fuels.
- Source Material: Adapting the remaining arcs of the 232-chapter manga published in Weekly Shonen Jump.
- Broadcast Structure: Three-cour run produced by TMS Entertainment.
- Core Objective: The construction of a space-bound vessel to reach the Moon and unearth the origin of the petrification beam.
With voice actor Yusuke Kobayashi returning to voice Senku alongside the established ensemble cast, Dr. STONE: Science Future represents the final milestone for one of modern shonen anime's most inventive, scientifically rigorous adaptations.
