The television anime adaptation of Reki Kawahara's death-game fantasy light novel Devils' Crest (also known as Demons' Crest) has expanded its voice cast ahead of its worldwide premiere on Prime Video scheduled for November 6, 2026. Produced by Production I.G, the series brings together an ensemble of veteran voice actors to portray the key classmates trapped in a blended real-world virtual reality nightmare.
Cast Expansion
Joining the main cast are four newly announced voice actors playing pivotal roles in the survival narrative:
- Yusuke Kobayashi as Teruki Sugamo
- Maaya Uchida as Aria Misono
- Rie Murakawa as Kai Kisanuki
- Sora Amamiya as Sumika Watamaki
These cast members join the core line-up previously revealed for the adaptation, which features Haruka Shiraishi as Yuma Ashihara, Konomi Inagaki as Sawa Ashihara, Yuya Hirose as Kenji Kondo, and Satomi Amano as Minagi Sano.
Production Staff
Kenichiro Komaya directs the series at Production I.G alongside chief director Shinji Ushiro. Original light novel illustrator Yukiko Horiguchi—renowned for her character designs on iconic titles like K-On! and Lucky Star—handles character designs for the animated project. Eiji Umehara (Vivy -Fluorite Eye's Song-) leads series composition, while the musical score is co-composed by Yuki Hayashi (Haikyu!!, My Hero Academia) and Naoyuki Chikatani.
Written by Sword Art Online and Accel World creator Reki Kawahara, the original light novel series launched under Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko imprint in November 2022, accompanied by a webtoon adaptation on Hyke Comic illustrated by TOmoe with scripts from Koroku Takano. North American publisher Yen Press publishes the light novel under the title Demons' Crest.
