The ongoing magical girl mystery series Detective Precure! (Meitantei Precure!) has announced a nostalgic crossover event with Toei Animation's classic franchise Ojamajo Doremi. Scheduled for the upcoming 39th episode airing on October 25, 2026, this special Halloween broadcast bridges two distinct eras of Sunday morning animation.
Set against the backdrop of 1999—the original broadcast year of Ojamajo Doremi—the narrative follows protagonist Anna Akechi as she navigates time-slip mechanics. In episode 39, titled "Ojamajo Halloween♪," the cast prepares for the town's first-ever commercial district Halloween festival. The premise takes a magical turn when an antagonist named Ageseine filches a precious broom tied to Makoto Jewels, forcing the detective team to adopt magical apprentice disguises to track her down.
