The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Demons Crest (Demons' Crest), written by Sword Art Online creator Reki Kawahara, has officially locked in its global premiere date. Scheduled to debut on November 6, 2026, the series will stream exclusively worldwide on Amazon Prime Video. Animation studio Production I.G is handling the project, bringing Kawahara's immersive mixed-reality death game to life.
According to the official platform rollout, Demons Crest will not be available on other major subscription services such as Netflix, U-NEXT, or DMM TV. First-time subscribers to Amazon Prime can utilize the standard 30-day trial period to catch the premiere episodes. The narrative follows protagonist Yuma Ashihara, who logs into an advanced full-dive VRMMO-RPG only to find the boundaries between the virtual world and reality collapsing around him.
