The 19th issue of Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine officially announced that artist tawaketch will launch a brand new manga series covering the harrowing and perilous 'Deep Floors' narrative arc from Fujino Ōmori and Suzuhito Yasuda's original light novel phenomenon. Serialization is slated to begin in the magazine's next issue on October 2.
Ōmori's foundational fantasy light novel series has proven to be an unstoppable commercial juggernaut, boasting over 20 million copies in circulation across its core volumes and various spin-offs, including the companion series Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side: Sword Oratoria. This upcoming Deep Floors manga joins a growing slate of print adaptations for the franchise, following closely behind the recent Astrea Record spin-off manga launched in Monthly Big Gangan.
