The production team behind Ace of Diamond act II -Second Season- has announced that Snow Man idol group member Daisuke Sakuma is joining the anime adaptation's voice cast as new character Shinichiro Saotome.
The announcement fulfills a long-standing creative wish for anisong artist Masayoshi Oishi, who performs the second cour ending theme alongside Tom-H@ck under their musical unit OxT. Oishi celebrated the joint project on social media, noting how quickly his public goal of collaborating with Sakuma materialized on the baseball franchise.
Broadcast Schedule
Based on the acclaimed high school baseball manga created by Yuji Terajima, the second cour of Ace of Diamond act II -Second Season- is scheduled to premiere on October 11 across TV Tokyo network channels and AT-X.
