The romantic sports drama Blue Box (Ao no Hako), adapted from Kouji Miura’s completed Weekly Shonen Jump manga, officially continues with its second season. Picking up directly from the 25-episode first season, Season 2 begins with Episode 26, title "Déjà vu," resuming the delicate living arrangement and athletic pursuits of badminton player Taiki Inomata and basketball prodigy Chinatsu Kano.
Produced by studio Electric Circus under the direction of Daisuke Sakou, the return season maintains key production staff, including series composition writer Yuko Kakihara and character designer Miho Tanino. The core voice cast returns with Shoya Chiba as Taiki Inomata, Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Kano, and Akari Kito as Hina Chono. New cast additions include Yuki Kaji as Kazuma Matsuoka and Yoshino Aoyama as Yumeka Kido, bringing new dynamics to the central relationships.
