Announced during the Aniplex One Focus digital showcase, the project revealed its lead voice talent, core animation staff led by studio A-1 Pictures, a teaser visual, and an initial promotional video.
Serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius, Bless centers on two high schoolers navigating self-confidence through the artistry of makeup. Aia Udagawa, a former model who suppressed his aspiration to become a makeup artist due to social pressure, meets Jun Sumizaki, a soft-spoken classmate who stoops her shoulders to conceal her height and freckles. An upcoming school festival contest forces both to step into the competitive world of beauty and fashion.
