The production team behind the romantic comedy anime adaptation has released the first official teaser trailer for Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Season 2, offering a fresh look at the upcoming sequence of events alongside details on returning voice talent and key staff transitions. Originally planned for a 2026 release, the second season was previously rescheduled to a 2027 broadcast window at studio Doga Kobo.
Staff Changes and Returning Cast
While studio Doga Kobo continues to oversee animation production, Season 2 introduces notable adjustments within the creative department. Hiroshi Haraguchi, who previously served as storyboard artist and episode director for Season 1's fourth episode, steps up as series director alongside newly appointed assistant director Seong-Min Kim. Series composition has been entrusted to Yuka Yamada (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S), while Yuhei Murota returns to handle character design.

Franchise Origins
Penned by author Sunsunsun and illustrated by Momoko, the original light novel series debuted under Kadokawa's Sneaker Bunko imprint in 2021 following an initial web novel publication on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2020. A manga adaptation by Saho Tenamachi has been serialized under Kodansha since 2022.
Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou is Seiren Private Academy’s "solitary princess."
