The television anime adaptation of author Touya and illustrator chibi's popular fantasy light novel series A Tale of the Secret Saint (Tensei shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu) is scheduled to premiere on October 3. Alongside the broadcast schedule, the production committee unveiled a full promotional trailer, previewing the vocal cast, the overarching story, and both opening and ending theme songs.
The animated adaptation is produced at studio FelixFilm under the direction of Tomoe Makino (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai), with series composition handled by Deko Akao (Noragami, Komi Can't Communicate) and character designs by Satomi Kurita. Renowned composer Kenichiro Suehiro (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, Golden Kamuy) provides the musical score.
Cast & Music
The main narrative follows Fia, an aspiring knight voiced by Shion Wakayama (Takina Inoue in Lycoris Recoil). After a near-fatal brush with death, Fia recovers memories of her past life as an overpowered Great Saint executed three centuries prior by the Demon Lord's forces. Desperate to avoid execution in her current life, she resolves to keep her divine powers secret while serving as an ordinary knight.

The opening theme song, titled “Flare of Soul,” is performed by singer Hanaya, while the ending sequence features “STELLAR” performed by the ensemble group Utahime Dream All Stars. The novel series, which boasts over 4.5 million copies in circulation across print and digital formats, will air on TOKYO MX, BS11, and stream internationally starting this October.
