The official website for the anime adaptation of Wookjakga's popular Korean webtoon A Returner's Magic Should Be Special (Kikansha no Mahō wa Tokubetsu Desu) has officially confirmed an October 7 premiere date for its anticipated second season. Alongside the scheduling news, production committees dropped a fresh promotional trailer and visual art showcasing returning talent and brand-new narrative obstacles.
Trailer & Musical LineupThe newly unveiled second promotional video gives viewers a clear look at the returning fantasy action while previewing the opening theme song titled "Sorrow" performed by the veteran rock band FLOW. Meanwhile, singer-songwriter krage handles the ending theme song, titled "Everlasting". Crunchyroll has confirmed it will stream the upcoming season internationally as it airs.
The second season will air as part of Fuji TV's +Ultra programming block starting October 7, broadcasting on Wednesdays at 24:45. Additional broadcasts are scheduled across Kansai TV, Tōkai TV, and AT-X. The series will be directed once again by Taishi Kawaguchi at animation studio Arvo Animation, with series composition and scripts managed by Takamitsu Kouno.
The main voice cast returns in full force, featuring Takuma Terashima as Desir Herman, Sayumi Suzushiro as Romantica Eru, Natsumi Fujiwara as Pram Schnaizer, and Asami Seto as Azrest Kingscrown.
