Starts Publishing has officially detailed its upcoming release slate for the shonen manga label Zerise Comics, bringing fresh tankobon volumes to readers. The new wave showcases a diverse selection of titles ranging from dark fantasy action to modern supernatural battles and unconventional sports drama.
Leading the batch is GEMIS Volume 2 by illustrator Oji En. The story follows the titular character stepping foot into the human kingdom—the apex of all races. However, labeled as an escaped experimental subject, Gemis soon finds himself hunted by humanity's strongest knight, Kirin, sparking an intense showdown where he taps into latent transformation powers.
The imprint also introduces Gigajin Volume 1 by Yusuke Reio, set in Tokyo in the year 2064, where artists known as Gashi materialize drawings called Gigajin into reality. Protagonist Soshin, struggling with a perceived lack of heart, encounters a mysterious girl named Ikaru, setting off an artistic fantasy journey involving legendary entities.
Rounding out the trio is 5-Buns no Ace Volume 1 by Gin, an unconventional volleyball manga centered around a first-year student named Yuma whose preferred position is the bench, as he can only perform at full capacity for a strictly limited five minutes.
Physical volumes feature exclusive bonus illustration papers at participating bookstores, alongside digital editions available across supported platforms.
