Adult Swim's renowned Toonami programming block has officially announced that the hit action adaptations Wind Breaker and Gachiakuta will begin airing on U.S. television this October. The lineup expansion brings two of modern manga's most celebrated action titles to linear broadcast, accompanied by the new animated series Get Jiro!.
According to the schedule revealed by the network, Wind Breaker is slated to debut on October 10 (effectively airing in the early hours of October 11 at 12:30 a.m. EDT), while Gachiakuta follows closely behind on October 17 (airing at 1:00 a.m. EDT on October 18). Both series have previously enjoyed massive streaming success via Crunchyroll, and their transition to Toonami marks a major milestone for weekly television viewership.
