Legendary Talent Joins the Imperial Court
The official production team revealed three major additions to the cast, bringing iconic voice talents to key supporting roles:
- Kotono Mitsuishi (renowned for Sailor Moon and Zombieland Saga) as Kimi Reiga
- Aya Hisakawa (Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura) as Ran Hourin
- Takako Honda (Kara no Kyoukai, Bleach) as Gen Gousetsu
Originating as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2020 before being acquired by Ichijinsha with art by Kana Yuki, the franchise has grown into a major hit in the body-swap romance space. The series composition is helmed by Yoshiko Nakamura (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun), with character designs by Ai Kikuchi and a score composed by Yukari Hashimoto. Both the original light novels and Ei Ohitsuji’s manga adaptation are currently published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
