Publisher Netmarble showcased a comprehensive gameplay overview and a cinematic story trailer for its upcoming title, Solo Leveling: Karma, during Tokyo Game Show. Scheduled to launch on PC and mobile platforms later this year, the game explores an unvisited narrative period within the original webtoon timeline by Chugong and the late artist DUBU that has not yet been covered by the TV anime adaptation.
A-1 Pictures Opening Animation
Alongside the gameplay overview, the development team confirmed that studio A-1 Pictures produced the game's animated opening sequence. Creative direction and storyboards were handled by Yūya Horiuchi and Yoshihiro Kanno, with Tomoko Sudo designing the characters and shibito serving as animation director alongside action director Yoshihiro Kanno.
Expanding Franchise Universe
The upcoming title marks another expansion for the multi-media franchise. Following the broadcast of the second season early this year and the theatrical run of Solo Leveling -ReAwakening-, the series continues its momentum toward the upcoming anime film Solo Leveling: Beyond the System.
