The Autumn 2026 romantic comedy Shio Taiou no Satou-san ga Ore ni Dake Amai has captured audiences with its sweet, slow-burn dynamic between high school classmates Koharu Satou and Souta Oshio. Adapted from Kazami Sawaru's light novel series published under Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint, the animated adaptation brings the mutual unrequited crush to life under the direction of Fumihiro Yoshimura and animation studio Tezuka Productions.
For viewers looking to follow the series week-by-week, the anime is available across several major subscription video-on-demand services. Early streaming options launched via d Anime Store and U-NEXT, while platforms like DMM TV, ABEMA, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video offer subsequent viewing options with varying trial periods and pricing models.
The story follows Souta, who helps his aloof classmate Koharu after discovering that her cold exterior hides a shy personality struggling to make friends. As they bond over photography at his family's cafe, the narrative explores the tender comedy of two people too timid to confess their true feelings.
