September 9 has been officially registered as Attack on Titan Day by the Japan Anniversary Association. The date marks the anniversary of when Hajime Isayama’s original manga began serialization in 2009, perfectly tying into the symbolic number nine associated with the series through its Nine Titans.
To celebrate the milestone, franchise creator Hajime Isayama has drawn a brand-new commemorative illustration. A separate visual bringing together all Nine Titans has also been revealed, alongside a custom logo inspired by the Doomsday Titan.
The franchise has launched its official YouTube channel, hosting limited-time anime streams and a dedicated anniversary livestream. Fans can also watch a special promotional video focusing on the Nine Titans below.
