The official website for the upcoming television anime adaptation of Mochimaru Sakaki's The World's Strongest Witch: I'm Starting My Free Life in a World Where Only I Can See the Online Strategy Guide (Sekai Saikyō no Majo, Hajimemashita) light novel series has revealed a wave of new updates. Renowned voice actress Nana Mizuki is officially joining the cast as Yggdrasil, the mystical spirit of the World Tree, who will make her debut appearance right in the premiere episode on October 7.
Based on Sakaki's web novel originally serialized on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in May 2022, the story follows Lorna after she is cast out by her aristocratic family for manifesting a seemingly useless skill. Using her SSS-Rank Internet ability, she unlocks cheat-level crafting knowledge and rare equipment, setting off on an unrestrained fantasy adventure. English publisher Yen Press handles the light novel release in North America.
