Free ad-supported streaming platform Pluto TV is set to expand its anime catalog this September with the launch of two brand-new channels: It's Anime and Big A Anime. The service continues to double down on linear and on-demand Japanese animation offerings, catering to a rapidly growing demographic of free streaming consumers.

Curated Programming and Fresh Additions

The new It's Anime channel will focus primarily on English-dubbed content, whereas Big A Anime will present a curated mix of critically acclaimed series and fan-favorite programming. Highlights slated for the broad expansion include historical drama Vinland Saga, MAPPA's dark fantasy Dororo, and Wit Studio's steampunk action franchise Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.

Pluto TV will also integrate several notable series into its on-demand and linear catalog with both subtitled and dubbed formats, including:

  • Vampire Knight
  • Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress
  • Terror in Resonance
  • Mononoke
  • Hikaru no Go
  • Inuyashiki Last Hero
  • One-Punch Man
  • KenIchi the Mightiest Disciple

Existing platform heavyweights such as Naruto, Sailor Moon, InuYasha, Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, and Captain Tsubasa will also see wider access to English dubbed audio tracks. According to internal data disclosed by Pluto TV, viewers aged 18–34 represent nearly half of all anime watch time on the platform, with anime fans spending nearly three times as many hours on the service compared to standard platform users.
