English-language publishing imprint One Peace Books has officially confirmed plans to bring Ei Ikaguchi's manga adaptation of My Life Turned Around: After I Was Betrayed and Framed, I Won the Heart of the Most Beautiful Girl at School to Western readers. The inaugural volume of the drama series is slated to launch on July 20, 2027.
Story Synopsis
The narrative follows Eiji Aono, a student whose world collapses when he discovers his girlfriend and childhood friend, Miyuki Amada, engaging in infidelity with the school's soccer team captain. Compounding this personal devastation, Eiji finds himself subjected to malicious rumors and institutional slander. Seeking solace on the school rooftop during his darkest hour, he encounters a mysterious peer who alters his trajectory.
The day he lost everything was the day he met her. At the end of summer, Eiji Aono witnesses the unthinkable: his childhood friend and girlfriend, Miyuki Amada, cheating on him with Kondo, the ace of the school's soccer team.

Origins and Publishing Path
The underlying light novel series, penned by author D and illustrated by Higeneko, originally debuted on the Kakuyomu web novel platform in September 2023. The project achieved significant recognition by claiming two accolades in the 9th Kakuyomu Web Novel Contest. Following its digital success, Kadokawa picked up the property for physical publication, launching print volumes in November 2024.
Meanwhile, the manga iteration illustrated by Ei Ikaguchi premiered on Kadokawa's Comic Newtype web platform in June 2025, with compiled volumes rolling out steadily through 2026. Fans of character-driven psychological drama and romance will soon be able to experience the English translation next summer.
