Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 has revealed a brand-new opening theme song following the premiere of Episode 8 on August 16. This pivotal episode marked the official beginning of the much-anticipated Chaos Breaker arc, which recently received its own dedicated trailer.
The new opening track is titled “Hikari no Uta” (“Song of Light”) and is performed by artist Yuiko Ohara. Fans can now stream the song across all major digital music platforms. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the anime as part of its Summer 2026 lineup.

Season 3 picks up adapting the story starting from Light Novel Volume 14. Seven Seas, the English publisher of the light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with illustrations by Shirotaka, describes the volume's plot: Nanahoshi, Rudeus, and their companions travel to Perugius’s mysterious floating fortress in search of adventure and legendary magic. However, tragedy strikes when a member of their group falls victim to a fatal illness, driving Rudeus to desperate lengths to save a dear friend's life.
In addition to the anime, the franchise is expanding into the gaming space with the upcoming release of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Chronicle of Echoes this year. Developed by ASOBIMO, the title will be a free-to-play game featuring in-app purchases.
