Following the premiere of the first theatrical feature for Made in Abyss: Mezameru Shinpi (Made in Abyss: Awakening Mystery) in Japan, the official website and channels confirmed that a second part is officially in active production, keeping the momentum alive for Akihito Tsukushi’s acclaimed franchise.
Alongside the announcement of the upcoming sequel, the production team revealed five prominent voice actors joining the ensemble to voice key figures from the narrative's harrowing deeper layers. The cast additions feature seasoned industry veterans:
