The official website for the television anime adaptation of Shinobu Kaitani's celebrated psychological suspense manga Liar Game has announced four additional voice actors joining its active lineup. The production, spearheaded by veteran animation studio Madhouse, continues its spring broadcast schedule following its premiere on April 7 on TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo.
New Voice Cast
The high-stakes thriller expands its vocal roster with industry veterans taking on key supporting roles:
- Daisuke Namikawa as Solario
- Yuuya Uchida as Shou Kikuchi
- Hiroko Ushida as Tadako Kousaka
- Minoru Shiraishi as Yuuichi Nishida
Directed by Asami Kawano at studio Madhouse, the series features scriptwriting and series composition by Tatsuhiko Urahata, character designs adapted by Kei Tsuchiya, and a dynamic score composed by Yuugo Kanno.
High-Stakes Legacy
Originally serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump from February 2005 to January 2015, Kaitani's mind-bending series amassed 19 compiled volumes. The franchise's enduring popularity has spawned multiple spin-offs, including the anthology Liar Game: Roots of A and the recent sequel Liar Game: The Last Game, whose compiled 20th volume is scheduled for release on October 19.
