The global rollout for the upcoming Kagurabachi anime adaptation is charging forward, with organizers revealing fresh itinerary stops for Part 2 of its ambitious Anime World Tour. Fans in South Africa and Australia will soon get an exclusive look at the series, featuring extended preview footage well ahead of its official broadcast premiere.
Following an extensive initial run that swept across major international fan gatherings in Los Angeles, Paris, Mannheim, Washington, D.C., and New York City, the campaign is expanding its reach. The upcoming leg will touch down at Comic Con Africa in Johannesburg on September 27, 2026, hosted at the Johannesburg Expo Centre’s Anime Cinema. Shortly after, the tour heads to PAX Aus in Melbourne on October 11, taking over the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s Quokka Theater. Both conventions will showcase the first 20 minutes of Episode 1, accompanied by a special guest appearance from anime producer Kenta Suzuki.
Global Ambitions
Originating from Takeru Hokazono’s smash-hit manga serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, the adaptation has generated massive industry buzz since its initial announcement. Studio Cypic is steering the animation production under the direction of veteran action animator Tetsuya Takeuchi, widely celebrated for choreographing iconic sequences such as the legendary Rock Lee versus Gaara bout in Naruto.
Crunchyroll has already locked down worldwide streaming rights outside of Japan, Mainland China, North Korea, and South Korea, positioning the dark vengeance saga as one of the anchor titles for the April 2027 television slate. With international stops now spanning five continents, the production committee is scheduled to pull back the curtain on Part 3 and the ultimate home-territory screening in Japan later this fall.
