Takeru Hokazono's dark battle shonen sensation Kagurabachi is officially expanding its global footprint. The production committee has confirmed the third and final leg of its expansive world tour, culminating in a landmark Japanese premiere screening at Tokyo's historic Kabukiza Theatre on March 25, 2027. This grand finale will treat attendees to the world-favourite first and second episodes ahead of the series' official television broadcast in April 2027.
The upcoming anime adaptation is spearheaded by director Tetsuya Takeuchi, with animation production handled by Cypic. The narrative tracks young Chihiro Rokuhira, a budding swordsman whose peaceful days with his legendary smith father, Kunishige, are brutally shattered by the malicious sorcerer organization known as the Hishaku. Left with only the seventh enchanted blade, Enten, Chihiro embarks on a relentless path of vengeance to reclaim six stolen swords and avenge his family.
Voice acting talent headlining the project includes Takahiro Kimura as protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira, Tomokazu Seki as Kunishige Rokuhira, and Katsuyuki Konishi as Tendo Shiba. All three principal cast members are scheduled to take the stage during the Kabukiza Theatre special event, with nationwide live-viewing streams also planned across Japanese cinemas. International fans have similarly enjoyed early glimpses of the series via touring activations spanning Seoul, São Paulo, and Singapore as part of the six-continent rollout.
To commemorate the manga's third serialization anniversary in Weekly Shonen Jump, director Tetsuya Takeuchi also revealed a stylish new illustration showcasing Chihiro wielding the Enten blade. As anticipation mounts for the April 2027 broadcast debut, fans worldwide are preparing to witness the brutal swordplay and emotional intensity of Hokazono's gritty revenge saga brought to motion.
