Legacy of a Masterpiece
Hirohiko Araki initially serialized Steel Ball Run in Weekly Shounen Jump back in January 2004 before shifting it to Ultra Jump in April 2005, where it solidified its status as an alternate-timeline milestone. Spanning 24 initial volumes, the manga cemented Araki’s reputation for narrative reinvention following the monumental conclusion of Stone Ocean.
Since the publication of the inaugural Phantom Blood arc in 1986, the franchise has consistently pushed creative boundaries across decades. With the ongoing serialization of the ninth part, The JoJoLands, the cultural footprint of Araki's universe remains as vibrant as ever.
