The Duel Masters LOST anime universe is expanding once again with the upcoming release of its fourth installment, Duel Masters LOST ~Danzai no Shonen~. Scheduled to debut on October 9, 2026, the four-episode series will stream bi-weekly on Fridays via the official YouTube channel of the Duel Masters franchise.
Accompanying the premiere date announcement is a brand-new main promotional video showcasing the series' ending theme song, "Tuitachi feat. Yoshino," performed by the Japanese musical unit Tsukuyomi. Alongside the audiovisual preview, production details have confirmed two prominent voice actors joining the roster: Masaya Matsukaze as Murasaki and Yurika Kubo as Hiyo Moriguchi. They join Nina Tamaki, who stars as Lost Kozaki.
Production Team & Alternate Universe Roots
Directing the project is Toshinori Fukushima, maintaining creative continuity following his work on previous entries including Tsuioku no Suishou, Gekka no Shinigami, and Bokyaku no Taiyo. Animation production is shared between J.C.STAFF and SMDE, blending traditional 2D artistry with advanced CGI integration characteristic of the modern Duel Masters LOST sub-franchise.
Unlike the mainline continuity, the Duel Masters LOST narrative takes place in a dark alternate timeline centered around Duel Masters WIN protagonist Win Kirifuda, who finds himself stripped of his memories following a devastating defeat. The franchise itself traces its roots back to the 1999 manga created for Wizards of the Coast's adaptation of the Magic: The Gathering ecosystem before evolving into an independent multimedia juggernaut.
