Toei Animation has officially set the release window for Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, revealing an October 11 premiere date alongside the new "SUPER SURGE" promotional trailer. Designed as an enhanced edition of the clash between Son Goku and the titular God of Destruction, the project features upgraded visual fidelity and extended battle sequences, while also setting the stage for Frieza's eventual resurrection.
Musical Themes & Enhanced Animation
The latest trailer highlights both primary theme songs for the broadcast. The opening theme, titled "ONOGAMI", is performed by MEGATERA ZERO, while VK Blanka delivers the ending track "Kan Peki no Peki". Both songs provide a high-energy backdrop to the remastered choreography and updated art direction.
Japanese voice actor Koichi Yamadera expressed enthusiasm over Beerus receiving main-title billing, a sentiment echoed by English voice actor Jason Douglas. This enhanced broadcast serves as a key stepping stone in the franchise's pipeline, building momentum ahead of the anticipated Fall 2026 release of the Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol (Moro Arc) anime adaptation.
