Broadcaster MBS and animation studio Science SARU have broadened their international push for the supernatural hit anime Dandadan, marking a milestone debut at Colombia's premier pop culture convention, SOFA (Salón del Ocio y la Fantasía) in Bogotá. Held in October, this appearance represents MBS's very first promotional initiative in Colombia as part of the worldwide campaign titled Turbo Granny Meets The World.
The Bogotá installation drew packed crowds of local fans, featuring towering appearances by the show's signature spirits and extraterrestrials, including Turbo Granny and the Serpoian aliens. Attendees received commemorative novelty masks modeled after the eccentric cast, lining up across generations to take photos with the exhibits.
