Studio Pierrot has released the official synopsis and preview stills for Episode 4 of Black Clover Season 2, titled “Day of Atonement”. Following its highly anticipated return earlier this autumn, the continuation of Asta and Yuno's journey continues to ramp up the stakes as high-ranking adversaries enter the fray.
According to the official production details, the upcoming episode focuses heavily on the intense confrontation involving Nacht and two supreme devils, Nahamah and Lilith. Pushed to his absolute limits by their overwhelming elemental magic, Nacht finds his memories of the past intertwining with a desperate struggle for survival. The broadcast is set for October 24, with worldwide streaming handled by Crunchyroll.

Under the direction of Ayataka Tanemura at Studio Pierrot, the second season adapts the climactic arcs of Yuki Tabata’s original manga. The creative ensemble features series composition by Keiichiro Ochi, character designs by Itsuko Takeda, and an atmospheric musical score composed by Minako Seki. WANIMA performs the opening theme song, titled “Kienai Riyuu”.
