The wait that tested the patience of millions is finally coming to an end. Black Clover 2nd Season has officially locked in its broadcast debut for October 2026, marking a triumphant return more than five years after the conclusion of the original 170-episode run. Based on Yuki Tabata’s massive manga hit serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, the upcoming continuation will tackle the fan-favorite Spade Kingdom Arc starting from volume 28.
Following the massive global success of the 1st Season and the Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King anime film, director Ayataka Tanemura and Studio Pierrot return to spearhead the animation production. The narrative plunges viewers straight into a desperate, high-stakes conflict as the Dark Triad of the Spade Kingdom unleash demonic forces across the continent. With captains captured and kingdoms pushed to the brink, Asta must tap into forbidden demonic powers to save his comrades and push past his limits.
The stellar voice cast returns led by Gakuto Kajiwara as Asta and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Yuno, joined by Junichi Suwabe, Kana Yuki, and a massive supporting roster. Furthermore, the opening theme has been confirmed as WANIMA's "Kえない理由" (Kienai Riyuu), alongside ONE OR EIGHT performing the ending theme "Yellow Brick Road."
With the manga's conclusion laying the groundwork for this monumental return, fans can expect high-octane confrontations, including Asta's Devil Union and Yuno's Spirit Dive forms brought to life with theatrical-grade animation fidelity.
