During the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival Online livestream event, fresh details emerged regarding the upcoming television anime adaptation of En Mikami's acclaimed mystery drama light novel series, Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou (The Case Files of Biblia Bookstore). Fans received their first substantial look at the project with an official promotional video alongside major announcements concerning the production team and principal voice cast.
The production is being spearheaded by CloverWorks, with veteran director Mamoru Kanbe taking the helm. Joining the core creative team are assistant director Ayako Kurata, series composer Toshiya Oono, character designer Jun Nakai, and composer Takahiro Obata, building an impressive pedigree for the literary mystery adaptation.
The central voice cast features Reo Osanai and Wataru Takagi both cast as protagonist Fumika Shinokawa, alongside Youhei Azakami as Kikuya Kasai and Saeko Kamijou as Nao Kosuge. Originally launched by Mikami with illustrations by Hagu Koshijima in March 2011, the novel series has previously inspired multiple manga adaptations and a live-action television drama.
