Virtual idol music group Mugendai MewType has officially dropped a vibrant new music video for their track "mugamuchu". The single originally served as a signature challenge song featured during the "Love Rush A to Z" in-game event for the multimedia smartphone project BanG Dream! Our Notes.
The ensemble features prominently in the ongoing BanG Dream! YUME∞MITA television anime series, which is produced by animation studio NICHICALINE and made its broadcast debut on July 2, 2026. The series follows an eccentric group of musicians thrown together unexpectedly to make their debut, starring Arale Nakamachi on vocals, Nonoka Miyanaga on lead guitar, Ritsu Minetsuki on rhythm guitar, Miyako Fuji on keyboard, and Yuno Sengoku handling DJ duties, alongside a star-studded voice cast including Kaede Hondo, Maaya Uchida, and Konomi Kohara.
International audiences can stream the anime series via Muse Asia, which captures the chaotic energy of the premise: members brought together out of nowhere with individual sparks of talent, yet completely unprepared to function as a unified musical outfit. Fans looking to follow the latest audio releases can check out the official project channels for more updates from the expanding BanG Dream! universe.
