The BanG Dream! multimedia franchise has offered fans a fresh look at its musical side, releasing a short video featuring Ave Mujica’s striking new song «God’s Blood». The track is tied directly to the Ave Mujica prima aurora theatrical project, currently screening in Japanese theaters with animation production handled by Nichicaline.
Alongside the ongoing theatrical screenings, the track forms part of the group's upcoming mini-album, scheduled to hit shelves on October 21. This follows the broader momentum of the musical project, which includes the Ave Mujica: The Die is Cast television anime that premiered in January 2025 under the direction of Kodai Kakimoto at studio Sanzigen, as well as an upcoming sequel titled Bang Dream! Mygo!!!!! // Ave Mujica slated for January 2027.
Theatrical Narrative
The dark and theatrical premise behind the Ave Mujica storyline revolves around Sakiko Togawa and her fateful gathering of troubled souls:
«Will you give me the rest of your life? After losing everything in a single night, Sakiko Togawa reaches out toward an even deeper abyss, one that will drag everyone around her down as well. Gathering the lives of girls burdened with their own troubles and desires, Sakiko raises the curtain on a perfect masquerade.»
