The colossal journey of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) is officially preparing to make its permanent home on physical media for Western collectors. Following the monumental conclusion of WIT Studio and MAPPA's landmark adaptation of Hajime Isayama's dark fantasy manga, the final feature film release has secured its official North American home video launch.
Discotek Media and Crunchyroll have outlined plans for the upcoming U.S. Blu-ray release, offering collectors a comprehensive package that includes high-definition features, commemorative art cards, and special behind-the-scenes production materials. The release marks the final milestone for an anime generation defined by Eren Yeager's harrowing quest beyond the walls.
As fans eagerly anticipate adding the definitive physical edition to their shelves, anticipation remains high for how MAPPA's animation masterclass will look in uncompressed 1080p. Pre-orders are set to go live across major retailers ahead of the scheduled distribution window.
