The upcoming two-part theatrical project Armored Trooper Votoms: Die Graue Hexe has released an official main visual and a pre-release trailer ahead of Part 1's scheduled November 20 premiere. Alongside the video assets, studio Sunrise confirmed that Mika Nakashima will perform the main theme song, titled “Na mo naki Shijin no you ni.”
Directed by legendary auteur Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell) and scripted alongside Kei Yamamura, the project is a monumental 50th-anniversary commemoration for Sunrise, featuring production assistance from Production I.G. The narrative places military investigator Maki Stauffenberg against penal soldier Ash Vamps, famously dubbed the “Witch,” amid the dying embers of a century-long war between Gilgamesh and Balarant.
