To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Persona franchise, Aniplex of America and Atlus have made the complete Persona 3 the Movie tetralogy available to stream for free on YouTube. The four feature films—Spring of Birth, Midsummer Knight's Dream, Falling Down, and Winter of Rebirth—are currently uploaded with original Japanese audio and English subtitles for a limited engagement across selected international territories, including North America, the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand.
A Dark Hour Redux
Originally released in Japanese theaters between November 2013 and January 2016, the film series adapts Atlus's seminal role-playing game with cinematic ambition. Produced primarily by A-1 Pictures, the tetralogy saw directorial leadership from creative talent such as Tomohisa Taguchi alongside project supervision by Seiji Kishi, with screenplays penned by Jun Kumagai. Character designer Keisuke Watabe translated Shigenori Soejima's distinctive visual flair to the screen, accompanied by evocative background art from Bihou, Inc. and jazz-infused musical scores by Shoji Meguro and Tetsuya Kobayashi.
While Atlus West has not specified an exact closing date for the free streaming window, the arrival of all four chapters on YouTube provides both new audiences and longtime fans an accessible avenue to experience Makoto Yuki's narrative journey against the Dark Hour. The films are currently accessible directly on YouTube.
