The broadcast forms part of Nippon Television's long-running charity program 24-Hour Television 49, scheduled to air on August 29 and 30, 2026.
The annual telethon will feature a biographical drama titled Happiness Exists, chronicling the life of the former Sharan Q frontman and prolific hitmaker alongside his family. The narrative focuses on Tsunku's journey after undergoing a laryngectomy due to laryngeal cancer, told primarily through the perspective of his wife, Kanako. Accompanying the drama is a dedicated documentary titled Ten Years Without a Voice: What Tsunku Wants to Convey About "Happiness" Today, which explores his enduring legacy through archival footage and intimate interviews with notable figures from the Japanese music industry.
